Nintendo’s Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? has taken the world by storm and now it’s back with even more brain taxing exercises to keep your most important organ in tip-top condition.
Inventively titled More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain?, the game will include the same hook which has players taking 5-10 minutes each day to complete challenges which test player’s cognitive and language skills. After each session the game will calculate the player’s Brain Age, making it possible to track progress via the game’s calendar.
This time around the DS Brain Age Checks take on a new form, testing players on three randomly selected exercises including Rock, Paper Scissors, Memorising 5×5 and Speedy Symbols.
There are also plenty of new training exercises to get stuck into, including calculating the correct change, 20 calculations, and Masterpiece Recital which asks players to match piano keys to the scrolling music sheet. Additional exercises are unlocked the more the game is played.
There’s also a selection of multiplayer modes, with Game Share enabling up to sixteen players to take part with only a single game card. Two to sixteen players can compete in games of Word Scramble, Memorise 5×5 or Correct Change, while three to sixteen are able to face off in a picture quiz mode.
Sudoku also makes a welcome return and there are over 100 puzzles with which to while away the time.
More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain? is scheduled to launch across Europe on June 29, priced £19.99.
