Yakuza series producer Daisuke Sato has seemingly let slip that we can expect more details on the next Yakuza game in just a short couple of weeks.

Speaking at a Tawainese launch event for Yakuza 5 (as reported on by Gamebase.com.tw and translated by Gematsu) Sato revealed that the winner of March's open auditions to find an actress to play the female companion of the next game's main character would be revealed – along with more information on the game itself – very soon, saying 'On July 10, we will announce the supporting actress for the new title, as well as share the latest information on the new title, so please look forward to it.'

We don't know a great deal about the next game in the series, not even the name or release window, but we do know it'll be on PlayStation 4 and will star Ichiban Kasuga after Sega revealed the news back during that casting call for the open auditions.

Meanwhile Yakuza spin-off game Judgment is set to release tomorrow – you can check out Colm's review of it right now.
