Monster Hunter X, a new title in the 32 million selling franchise, will launch this winter in Japan for Nintendo 3DS to mark to the tenth anniversary of the series, Capcom has announced.
The new game promises all-new hunting possibilities, built on the same core gameplay and world of past titles. New elements include Hunting Styles, which Capcom says will allow players to enjoy greater personalization when they hunt.
Players will also be able to revisit locations from other titles in the series and come across four main monsters.
The hope is that Monster Hunter X will appeal to both long-time fans and newcomers to the series.
It’s probably safe to assume Monster Hunter X will arrive in Europe and North America at some point in 2016.
