Nintendo has announced that Monster Hunter Tri will be available in three guises when it launches in April: game only, game with a black Classic Controller Pro and game with Wii Speak.

In addition to two-player, split-screen co-operative play, Monster Hunter Tri also allows players to take the hunt online, teaming up with friends to take part in battles with enormous monsters. What’s more, the game will support Nintendo’s Wii Speak accessory, allowing players to speak to one another in the heat of battle.

Monster Hunter Tri is also fully compatible with the Classic Controller Pro, with its more traditional control configuration promising gamers the “ultimate Monster Hunting experience”.
