Fans hoping to meet Monster Hunter Tri developers Ryozo Tsujimoto and Kaname Fujioka at Friday’s Monster Hunter Tri launch event are out of luck; the pair have been held up by volcanic ash and will no longer will able to attend.

The launch event goes ahead though, with the first 50 people in line to buy the game receiving a special Monster Hunter bag that includes some exclusive Monster Hunter items not available in the UK.

If that wasn’t enough, the first 100 people to purchase Monster Hunter Tri will be sent an exclusive game sleeve signed by Ryozo Tsujimoto and Kaname Fujioka.

The launch is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 23 between 9am and 9pm at GAME, 100 Oxford Street, London.
