Modern Warfare 3 is to be revealed next week if a countdown on findmakarov.com is what it appears to be. Video games site That Videogame Blog received dog tags from Activision with details of the website and some hints as to who might appear in the highly anticipated sequel.
The message “end the war” is etched onto one of them, along with details of Shepherd, the villain from Modern Warfare 2. The countdown on the website ends in just under 5 days, which suggests a reveal during GDC next week.
The studio making Modern Warfare 3 remains to be seen. The problems experienced by series creator Infinity Ward have been well documented. Could new studio Sledgehammer be involved or will Infinity Ward rise from the controversy even stronger?
