According to court documents filed by Activision in their case against former Infinity Ward bosses Jason West and Vince Zampella, the pair’s alleged attempts to form a spin-off studio from Infinity Ward is “delaying pre-production of Modern Warfare 3”, with this delay being used as “leverage” in negotiations with the publisher.
Activision also claims that as a result of West and Zampella’s actions it “has been forced to commit additional resources to Modern Warfare 3”.
