US eSports organiser Major League Gaming has announced a $30,000 prize pool for its League of Legends Invitational tournament at the MLG Fall Championships.

Eight League of Legends teams will be featured in the event, though the competing teams are yet to be announced. MLG will detail the teams and how the prize pool will be split in the coming days.

Alongside League of Legends, the MLG Fall Championship will also feature StarCraft II, Halo 4, Mortal Kombat and Tekken Tag Tournament.

The event will take place in Dallas, Texas from November 2-4.
