BioShock 2 Minerva’s Den DLC will be released for PC on May 31 via Games for Windows Live, 2K Games has announced.

Released back on August 31, 2010 for Xbox 360 and PS3, it’s taken nine months for the DLC to make its way to PC.

Minerva’s Den puts players in the role of an all-new character who has teamed up with Brigid Tenenbaum to unravel a dictator’s stranglehold on a key district in the distinctive city under the sea. It’s a self-contained narrative DLC, but requires a copy of BioShock 2.

To celebrate the release of Minerva’s Den on PC, lead designer Steve Gaynor has written a two-part, behind-the-scenes blog post about the history of the content.

Minerva’s Den is priced 800 Microsoft Points.
