Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will launch this Friday, September 5, Microsoft has announced.

Owners of the Xbox 360 Edition can upgrade to the Xbox One Edition for only £3.99, with the full game otherwise costing £15.99. In addition, all DLC purchased for the 360 Edition can be re-downloaded to Xbox One for free.

While the PS4 Edition is still without an officially announced release date, PlayStation France posted on Twitter that the game would be launching today. SCE UK is yet to confirm this release date.

PS4 and Xbox One versions will boast “significantly bigger worlds and a greater draw distance” than the PS3 and Xbox 360 counterparts. It will also be possible to import saves from previous gen versions.

The PS Vita version has yet to be dated.
