Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will be able to access save games from the Xbox 360 Edition, Microsoft has announced.
“After months of teaming up with Mojang, we can confirm that Minecraft X360 Edition will save transfer to Xbox One Edition,” Tweeted Phil Spencer, corporate VP, Microsoft Game Studios. “More news soon! “
The Xbox One Edition remains without a confirmed release date.
Earlier this week it was confirmed by Mojang that it hopes to enable save transfers from the PS3 Edition to the PS4 Edition, though it’s still working out how it’ll work on PS Vita.
