Mojang has finally given us a look at the upcoming Minecraft Trails and Tales update and the upcoming patch contains plenty of exciting features, including a sakura-tree filled biome and a new way of building fancy bookshelves. However, these aren’t the only goodies that are arriving soon as the developers have also teased more fresh content with their announcement.
Although Mojang’s latest revelations won’t exactly teach you how to use a brush or how to make a Minecraft bamboo farm, it should still be enough to get you excited for the next patch. As mentioned before, the v1.20 update will contain the Cherry Blossom biome where you’ll be able to create various builds making use of these trees’ pink petals.
Additionally, Mojang’s official blog post also includes more details on the long-legged companion that players will soon be able to ride throughout their servers. The camel is finally making its long-awaited appearance and having one at the ready may just be the difference between getting overrun by a bunch of hostile Creepers and escaping with your life.
The camel’s vertical advantage over these sinister, land-locked melee creatures will allow you to escape unscathed. However, you will still need to watch out for ranged combatants since this animal’s humps will not protect you from a deadly flying arrow. You’ll also apparently be able to bring a companion with you, which means you won’t be alone in case you do get overwhelmed by a treacherous mob.
If you want to learn more about these upcoming improvements, then we suggest checking out Minecraft’s monthly special feature episode.
