Minecraft: Story Mode’s first episode, The Order of the Stone, will be available to download from the Wii U eShop this Thursday, January 21, Telltale has announced.

The episode will be available for $4.99, with a Season Pass granting access to episodes 2-5 also available for $19.99. The additional episodes will be available in “the coming weeks”, Telltale says. UK pricing has yet to be announced.

The Wii U version will include support for off-TV play, allowing players to continue playing using just the Wii U GamePad, along with touch-control options that let players switch between using the face buttons or tapping the screen at any time.

“Working with Nintendo, we’re tremendously excited to be bringing our unique style of storytelling to Wii U for the first time, and we couldn’t be happier to be kicking things off with a series like ‘Minecraft: Story Mode’ that allows players of all ages to craft their own adventure across the Minecraft universe,” said Telltale CEO Kevin Bruner.

Minecraft: Story Mode debuted on other platforms last October and is also expected on PS Vita later this year. A date for the PS Vita version has yet to be confirmed.

The fifth and final episode, meanwhile, is due for release on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and mobile in ‘early 2016’.
