The August release of Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition looks likely to be missed after developer 4J Studios revealed Sony had found some issues with the game during final certification.
“Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of #MinecraftPS4 :(,” 4J wrote. “We’re fixing, but we need to go through the process again.”
4J earlier revealed the game had been submitted to Sony for testing on August 12.
Versions of Minecraft for PS4, PS Vita and Xbox One were expected to launch this month.
Regarding the Xbox One version, Xbox boss Phil Spencer posted on Twitter to say he was “checking” if the release can go ahead as planned.
