Mojang – the company behind Minecraft – will not be directly developing the 360 version of the block-based phenomenon. While Mojang head Markus Perrson will still be affiliated with the project as a game designer, an as of yet unnamed dev will be taking the reins.
Perrson revealed that it “won’t be a straight port,” alluding toward 360 exclusive features. Kinect functionality has already been confirmed for the 360 version of Minecraft, but details of how off-screen actions will relate to in-game commands are yet to arise.
