Miitomo, Nintendo’s first app for smartphones and tablets, has raced to the 10 million unique user milestone, Nintendo has announced.
The free app launched first in Japan on March 17, following in other territories worldwide on march 31.
Another statistic Nintendo feels particularly proud about is the app’s involvement in starting more than 300 million conversations.
In celebration of the 10 million users milestone Nintendo will run a 10-day “Celebrating 10 Million Users!” promotion between April 29 and May 8.
Nintendo also announced that game apps based on Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem will launch this autumn.
