At the E3 2019 PC Gamer show, Coffee Stain Publishing, the team behind the Goat Simulator series, revealed a partnership with Vaulted Sky Games to release Midnight Ghost Hunt.
It's a 4v4 multiplayer game set in a spooky mansion and looking a bit like Ghostbusters. What's more, it's a prop hunt game, meaning that certain objects have been possessed by ghosts and behave in naughty and sneaky fashion.
Check out the trailer:
Samuel Malone, game director at Vaulted Sky Games, said, 'We wanted to give context to the prop hunt mechanic and the poltergeist versus hunter setup really delivers on that whilst creating ludicrous moments where lamps and grandfather clocks lay out unsuspecting players.'
On the partnership with Coffee Stain, Malone said, 'We’re incredibly hyped to be working with an awesome indie label in Coffee Stain who have a track record of launching these viral, quirky games and we can’t imagine a better fit for us.'
This sounds like a must-have for people who are naturally mistrusting of lamps.
