Microsoft is believed to be working on a second title based on the South Park animated series, 345 Games creative director Prithvi Virasinghe has told Joystiq.

345 Games was set up earlier this year to create games based on Comedy Central and Spike TV properties, including Deadliest Warrior and Ugly Americans.

Microsoft holds a two title exclusive license for the offensive toon, but once this expires Virasinghe hopes work with the Comedy Central franchise.

“Right now, South Park is actually in a first-party deal with Microsoft Studios, who published the first game, and they’re doing a second game as well,” Virasinghe explained. “After that, that first-party exclusivity window expires, and we get a shot of taking that back.”

Microsoft’s first South Park title, Let’s Go Tower Defense was released in October 2009.
