Xbox gamers should soon be able to switch between Xbox LIVE account regions without frustration thanks to a new web tool currently in beta.
The official Microsoft tool will make it simple to migrate entire accounts from one region to another. Once every three months it will be possible to migrate your gamer tag, Achievements, Microsoft Points and Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.
However, region-locked items such as TV service subscriptions (Sky for example) and Xbox Music passes won’t make the move, and no refund will be offered for any outstanding subscriptions.
Expect Microsoft to officially unveil the service once it exits beta.
