Microsoft has announced that the Xbox has narrowed its losses. For the quarter ending March 31st 2005 Microsoft’s game group reduced its losses to $154m, down from the $209 million they lost in the same quarter in the previous year. This was said to be primarily down to increased sales of the Xbox.
The company also revealed their outlook for the final quarter of the financial year, announcing that the company wide growth is expected to be around 10 percent. The Home division is expected to see growth of approximately 20 percent due to Xbox, Xbox Live and software sales.
