Microsoft has coyly responded to rumours of a new R2-D2-themed Xbox 360, stating to CVG:
“As you know, rumours are rumours and we don’t comment on them. May the force be with you.”
This comes after sources claimed a special edition Xbox 360 and Kinect sensor would be available in blue and white, a la Star Wars droid.
If true it would follow in line with custom hardware releases such as the Halo and Gears of War-themed 360 models.
