Microsoft has announced a number of venue changes for E3 2018 as it gears up for what it’s trumpeting as the company’s ‘biggest showing ever.’

This includes a stop at the Microsoft Theatre in the heart of Los Angeles, where the Xbox One manufacturer will host its annual Media Briefing, which you can expect will be jam-packed full of new game reveals and probably a few stage demos thrown in for good measure.

Microsoft’s presser will kick off at 1.00pm PST on June 10, and the theatre will also offer hands-on time for attendees with game demos and FanFest activities. In addition, the company will also extend its presence to the Los Angeles Convention Centre, where Mixer will be strutting its stuff for folk to play, stream, and interact with games during E3.

‘These changes – expanding our presence, multiple venues, taking over the Microsoft Theater – give us the opportunity to bring together a variety of Xbox experiences into one primary location and, most importantly, let fans in on what we’re up to in 2018 and beyond in a fresh new way,’ said Microsoft.

Naturally, Phil Spencer and chums are keeping details of what’s actually going to be shown at the event close to their chests for now. However, smart money’s on a new Halo being briefly shown, plus Crackdown 3, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and third-party offerings such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
