Microsoft’s Major Nelson has launched a countdown to E3 2013, sparking internet chatter that this could be to build hype for the reveal of the next Xbox.
The post on Major Nelson’s blog reads: “Countdown to E3 2013” followed by “And it’s on…”
The countdown will end on June 11, 2013, with E3 running from this date until June 13.
Microsoft is expected to show its next generation hand this year, with the console’s release also possible for the autumn/winter shopping season. An E3 reveal would fit the bill, but some had believed the platform holder would choose to reveal the next Xbox at a private event separate to the annual expo.
