Nintendo of America has confirmed via Twitter that the forthcoming Metroid: Samus Returns is getting a special edition Nintendo New 3DS XL. Aptly named the Samus Edition Nintendo 3DS XL, this will be released on September 15 alongside the game. No word on whether we will see this in Europe.

Now we just have to play the waiting game and see if it’s also released in Europe, following the instantaneous sell out of the Metroid: Samus Returns Legacy Edition.
