Nintendo has announced that Metroid Prime Pinball for Nintendo DS will finally be released across Europe on June 22. For those thinking this is a sequel to the 2005 release in the US, you’d be wrong. This is the very same game that was released back in October 2005.
The game takes the classic game of pinball and spins in a host of Metroid themes to create something a little different.
As Samus in her morph ball form, players must tackle numerous themed tables with plenty of secrets and mini-games to uncover. In addition to a challenging single-player mode, Metroid Prime Pinball also includes Wireless Mission mode which enables up to eight players to compete with only a single game card.
Metroid Prime Pinball will ship across Europe on June 22, priced £30 and as a little bonus will come bundled with the DS Rumble Pack, previously seen in Action Loop.
