IGN Nintendo editor Matt Casamassina has revealed that Metroid Prime 3 will be at E3 this year, and in a fully playable form on the Revolution. The revelation comes from a comment made by Casamassina on his blog.

I have full confidence in Retro to make Prime 3 one of, if not the must-have game of E3 2006. This will be the game that shows all other companies how to do first-person gameplay with the Revolution controller,” reads the comment.

Then in response to a question from one of his blog readers, Casamassina confirmed that Metroid Prime 3 will be at E3 and best of all will be “fully playable.

The prospect of a fully playable Metroid Prime 3 at E3 is only the slightest bit exciting, but don’t get your hopes up just yet. Nintendo is yet to confirm what Revolution titles will be playable at E3, and dismissed the claims as “pure rumour and speculation.
