Metallica has been confirmed as the headline act to close BlizzCon 2014 on November 8, Blizzard has announced.
“We’re thrilled to have Metallica blowing out our speakers at BlizzCon this year,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment. “After two full days of epic gaming and intense eSports action, an earth-shaking concert is the perfect send off for everyone at the show and watching from home.”
Convention tickets are sold out, but BlizzCon Virtual Tickets can be purchased for $39.99 and promise comprehensive live online coverage of both event days – this includes Metallica’s performance.
