Having already made its way onto PSP and Wii, Metal Slug Anthology will shortly find a new home on the PlayStation 2. The compilation includes seven Metal Slug games, from the title that launched the series back in 1996 to the most recent Metal Slug 6.
The complete list of games in the anthology are Metal Slug, Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug X, Metal Slug 3, Metal Slug 4, Metal Slug 5 and Metal Slug 6.
“The Metal Slug franchise is synonymous with frantic arcade action and over the top exciting gun play,” says Peter Rollinson, Product Manager, Ignition Entertainment. “PlayStation 2 owning fans can also now experience the thrills that this popular franchise has to offer.“
Each game is arcade perfect and features two-player co-operative play, unlockable items and bonus galleries.
Metal Slug Anthology will be released for PlayStation 2 across Europe in May.
