Konami has revealed new details on Metal Gear Solid V’s co-op spin-off Metal Gear Survive, confirming that the game is “being developed by members from the original MGSV: TPP production team”.

Furthermore, the publisher has announced that the game will be getting its first gameplay reveal at TGS this Saturday, September 15. You’ll have to get up early to watch it, though: the presentation will be streamed live on Konami’s YouTube channel at 8:15am BST.

Metal Gear Survive is a co-op-focused stealth-action game set in an alternate universe to MGSV, and is due for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.

It’ll be the first Metal Gear game to release since director Hideo Kojima exited Konami last year.
