Microsoft has announced that three new games have been added to the publisher’s list of Xbox One backwards compatibility titles, with Metal Gear Solid HD: Peace Walker leading the charge.
The stealth-action title was originally released on the PSP back in 2010 before being included in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on PS3 and Xbox 360 some years later. Joining Hideo Kojima’s portable classic is Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Ubisoft’s attempt at bringing the military franchise into new territory by equipping players with set of flashy new tech.
Rounding out the latest additions to the backwards compatibility lineup is Axel & Pixel, a hand-drawn, point-and-click adventure from 2K Play that initially launched on PC and Xbox 360 way back in 2009.
Just in case you don’t already know the drill by now, you can simply pop in your physical copies of the games and dive right in, or if you’re a digital owner, head to the ‘Ready to Download’ section of your console to grab them. Alternatively, if you don’t own them at all you can just snap them up on the Xbox Store (Peace Walker and Ghost Recon are currently part of the weekly deals, too).
