Konami has announced that the previously confirmed Metal Gear Solid HD Collection – featuring high definition versions of MGS2, MGS3 and the PSP’s MGS Peace Walker – will ship this November on two discs for Xbox 360.
A single Blu-ray disc is enough to house the trio for the PS3 release.
Konami will present the collection by chronological order in the MGS time line, as opposed to when each game was originally released. It will open with Snake Eater, set in the 60’s, followed by Peace Walker in 1974 and concluding with Sons of Liberty.
Metal Gear Solid mastermind and creator Hideo Kojima is overseeing the updates for each title. The collection will also feature full trophy and Achievement support.
