PlayStation 3 versions of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Remember Me will be available to download for free as part of next month's PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection, Sony has confirmed.

The freebies replace the current set of titles available on the service, which includes Far Cry 3, Mafia 2, Spec Ops: The Line, Street Fighter X Tekken and Touch My Katamari. If you've yet to download them, make sure you do so before Wednesday, October 23.

As well as the two PS3 titles, PlayStation Vita owners will also be able to download free copies of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath and MotorStorm RC.

An annual subscription to PlayStation Plus costs £39.99 and will be required to access the online multiplayer modes of PlayStation 4 titles.
