Konami has released an update for the delayed Metal Gear Online beta. We don’t know what the update does, but with huge numbers of PS3 gamers expected to be accessing the beta over the weekend we recommend you download the update now in order to beat the rush.
The beta had been scheduled to begin earlier this week, but overwhelming user numbers put an end to that. 7am GMT on Saturday is the new go time, but after what happened before don’t bank on it.
Metal Gear Online will be included with Metal Gear Solid 4, which is currently scheduled for release exclusively for PlayStation 3 on June 12.
