At a press event taking place in Tokyo to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Metal Gear series, Konami has announced an online Metal Gear Solid title for the PlayStation 3.
Reports from the event state that the new online title will be based on the idea of hide and seek, although further details aren’t available at this time.
Konami plans to begin a closed beta on August 20, running through September 3, with registration said to be open now.
In other Metal Gear news, Konami announced Metal Gear Solid 2 Bande Dessinee, a new digital comic for the PSP.
