Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be released at the end of June.

The home console edition gathered a whopping great 9 from Martin in his review earlier this year. The Vita version doesn’t have Peace Walker, but that’s ok – it’s the runt of the litter anyway.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will both feature new touch screen controls.

More promisingly, the Collection will also use Kojima Productions annoyingly-named TRANSFARRING system, which allows players to TRANSFER (note the spelling, Hideo) saves between the Vita and the PS3 edition of the game. If you love Metal Gear enough to buy both versions, this will no doubt be an added bonus.
