Mercury Meltdown Remix marks the series’ debut on a home video games console, and promises to build on what the PSP version offers. In the game you’ll have to guide a liquid Mercury blob across more than 200 levels packed full of obstacles and hazards.
New to Meltdown are the varying states of the Mercury blob, which can now become solid, fast and slow, in addition to its normal state. The PlayStation 2 game features a total of 12 labs, two of which are exclusive and won’t be found in the PSP version.
The game will be distributed by Atari in the UK, France, Germany and the Nordic countries, and is scheduled for release before the end of the year.
