Update, August 27, 5.11pm

Capcom has now confirmed that there is a Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection headed to PlayStation 4. The Mega Man Twitter account announced that it will also come to Xbox One, Switch, and PC, and a trailer for the collection was officially posted on the Mega Man YouTube channel.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection appeared as a listing on the PlayStation Store in Hong Kong, as spotted by Reddit user shawntails

That’s funny. Capcom hasn’t announced a Zero/ZX series reproduction for current consoles. Although this is exciting news, we do have to take this with a pinch of salt. The listing says that the collection would include the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS classic titles. Mega Man Zero, Mega Man Zero 2, Mega Man Zero 3, Mega Man Zero 4, Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent will be bundled together, and set for a launch date of January 21, 2020.

The new collection will have an artwork gallery, music player, and special in-game filters that will take players straight back to craning their necks playing the GBA originals. A new leaderboard-based Z Chaser Mode will let players race for the fastest time, but there will also be a Casual Scenario Mode and Save-Assist feature for those who want to play the game at their own pace. And, as the previous two legacy collections were released for PC, Switch and Xbox One, we could feasibly expect the Zero/ZX Legacy Collection to follow suit.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection might be out next year, if Capcom acknowledge the leak and confirm it. Watch the debut trailer below.
