Capcom’s Keiji Inafune, creator of Mega Man and Dead Rising, has hit out at the state of the Japanese video game industry, telling attendees of last week’s Tokyo Game Show that “our game industry is finished”.
“Personally when I looked around all the different games at the TGS floor, I said “Man, Japan is over. We’re done. Our game industry is finished.”” Said Inafune, translated by Capcom’s Ben Judd.
Interestingly, Dead Rising 2 is being developed by Canadian studio Blue Castle Games.
