Volition has announced the final team from Agents of Mayhem, Carnage a Trois. Continuing its theme of being totally on the cutting edge of self-aware humour and riddled with curse words, this trailer shows off Mayhem leader Persephone’s final team of choice, and some of their abilities. This could well be the last trailer of the approx. 187 others that’ve come before it.
Introducing ex US Army Drill Sergeant and master tactician Braddock who comes from a long line of military lifers. Nobody knows Legion better than Braddock. Why, you ask? Because she trained most of them before they were recruited by the evil group. News of this sent Braddock over the proverbial edge and she leaves the military to join Mayhem to take down her protégés. Next on the list is Yeti, an elite Russian soldier who took part in a confidential ‘cold-warrior’ program designed to create super soldiers. Most volunteers were driven mad by this program, but Yeti survived and escaped to join Mayhem. Saints Row fans may be interested to know that Yeti was formerly known as Oleg.
The final Carnage a Trois member is apparently everyone’s fave roller derby girl, Daisy. Bold, brash, and with no filter, Daisy is a bit of a baddun. She’s also a dab hand with heavy weapons. Thanks to her quick roller-derby movements and powered skates she uses her minigun to lay waste to the battlefield.
This is in-keeping with the explosions, foul-language and off-the-cuff humour of previous Agents of Mayhem trailers. Dare we hope it’s the last one we will see before the game comes out? It’s all getting a little much now.
Agents of Mayhem is out for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 18.
