GfK Chart Track reports that EA’s Medal of Honor has recorded the best ever UK launch week sales for a game in the long-running franchise.
Entering the chart at No.1, Medal of Honor sold best on Xbox 360 (52 per cent of total sales), followed by 43 per cent on PS3 and five per cent on PC.
While we don’t have sales figures for each platform, Chart Track has revealed that the game is the fourth biggest launch this year on Xbox 360 and the fifth biggest this year on PS3.
The fourth biggest launch on Xbox 360 in 2010 is by no means a bad effort – especially with the likes of Halo: Reach, FIFA 10 and Red Dead Redemption already doing big business on the platform.
