The mini-game features 8-bit style pixelated graphics, with the object of the game, as with all other versions, to build up a huge Katamari by rolling it all over the environment and picking up objects. Some of the features of the main game include a scoreboard, gallery mode, and a photo album for viewing snapshots taken during the game. Only 12 pictures can be stored in the album, but they can be set as wallpaper for your PSP.

The game also includes a 4-player wireless Ad Hoc mode for multiplayer action, and added to the PSP version is the ability to save the game at any point, making it perfect for picking up and playing for a few minutes here and there. Me & My Katamari is out in a few days in Japan, but currently no firm release date has been announced for Europe, with EA having announced a 2006 release.
