Update 1.6 has gone live in the popular indie sandbox game Minecraft, including an extensive list of improvements and additional features.
According to the blog of the game’s creator Notch, these additions include everything from craftable maps to added Nether support for multiplayer.

It’s a hell of a patch, and with this amount of changes to the game it’s a good time to try Minecraft out if you haven’t already.
