Mass Effect 3 will feature an ending in which the Reapers win the battle to take over Earth, BioWare community rep Mike Gamble revealed to NowGamer at gamescom last week.
Asked about how far BioWare was willing to take a negative ending in Mass Effect 3, specifically if there will be an outcome in which the Reapers win the battle for Earth, Gamble said, “yes”.
Asked to confirm that there would be a Reapers win ending, Gamble once again said “yes”.
“War of the Worlds? Think War of the Galaxy,” said VideoGamer.com in its E3 2011 Mass Effect 3 preview.
Mass Effect 3 will be released for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on March 9 2012.
