BioWare announced in April that the premium “Bring Down the Sky” DLC that has been released for the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect would be available for free at the launch of the PC game. Unfortunately there’s been a delay and North American PC gamers who’ve now got their hands on the game will have to wait for the DLC.

“BioWare’s space hamsters are running as fast as they can in their orbital wheels to bring you your free “Bring Down the Sky” downloadable content for Mass Effect PC,” explained BioWare over on the game’s website. “When the downloadable content is available, we’ll shout out to you through the Mass Effect game launcher, this page, and our news RSS.”

The game’s not out across Europe until June 6 so hopefully the free DLC will be ready to go by then. For our thoughts on the PC version of Mass Effect check out the recently published review.
