The PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 3 is a new entry at No.20 in the Japanese video game chart, having sold a little over 8,000 copies.
Although bird feed in the grand scheme of things, the week one sales are up compared to Mass Effect 2’s 5,885 copies during its launch last year.
Elsewhere the video game hardware chart showed little change, with the 3DS continuing its dominance – (last week sales):

Yesterday BioWare revealed it will be addressing the dissatisfaction many Mass Effect 3 players had with the game’s ending.
