BioWare has teased an imminent Mass Effect announcement ahead of tonight’s Summer Showcase event.
Taking to Twitter, BioWare’s community coordinator Tully Ackland said:
“Good morning! #MassEffect fans should keep an eye out for news that’ll come out later today 🙂
“I realise my tweet is like an announcement of an announcement… How awful of me! #Notsorry”
Could it be new DLC, perchance, or the first look at Mass Effect 3 on Wii U? All will be revealed later today.
EA’s Summer Showcase event, which takes place in the US tonight, will be broadcast live via EA’s official website. The show kicks off at 9pm BST tonight.
EA is expected to show off live demos of Battlefield 3: Armored Kill, Medal of Honor: Warfighter and FIFA 13. It’s also been suggested that a new game could be revealed.
EA teased yesterday that it still had three unannounced titles due for release in early 2013.
