BioWare is bringing Mass Effect 3 up to modern standards with a greater emphasis on smooth movement and reaction-based animations, the publisher has boasted.
Speaking on the latest episode of its BioWare Pulse TV show, combat designer Corey Gaspur showed some of Shepard’s new moves include being able to roll out of cover and move 90 degrees around cover.
New visual cues will also aid the player, such as Shepard turning his head at cover spots in safe distance.
BioWare did not say if Shepard’s animations have been improved on the dance floor, but we can only hope.
Mass Effect 3 will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on March 9 2012.
