BioWare is asking Facebook fans for their feedback on six concept images for the default appearance of Female Shepard in Mass Effect 3.

Whichever lady-Shep gets the most ‘likes’ will then appear as the default character in the game. Even if you intend on playing as a male Shepherd, you should bear in mind that FemShep will be appearing on the box art – so make sure you ‘like’ your favourite.

Casey Hudson has confirmed in a Tweet that players will also be able to choose the iconic red-head Shepherd from Mass Effect 2 alongside the new fan-favourite.

Earlier this month BioWare said its high-level vision for Mass Effect 3 hasn’t changed.

Mass Effect 3 will be released for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on March 9 2012.
