Mass Effect 3 has sold 1.5 million copies worldwide, Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz said in an investor note.
The figure comes two million units short of the 3.5 million copies of the game EA has shipped to retailers worldwide.
Creutz said that the game’s March release was “challenging”. EA is yet to release official sales figures for the sci-fi sequel.
It’s been a busy week for Mass Effect with the release of both a long overdue patch to fix the importing bug, and the arrival of the free Resurgence Pack DLC.
