Alleged details of Mass Effect 3’s Extended Cut DLC have leaked online ahead of its release this summer.
According to a post on Reddit (posted by the same tipster who spotted details on previous DLC pack ‘Rebellion’), the upcoming DLC will include an expanded look at the impact of Shepard’s decisions on the galaxy.
“An expanded ending for Mass Effect 3,” reads the alleged product description.
“Additional scenes and an extended epilogue reveal the impact of Shepard’s choices on the future of the galaxy.”
In addition to the Extended Cut DLC, the tipster also leaked details of an upcoming, unannounced multiplayer DLC that adds new three new maps set on Earth.
Titled ‘Mass Effect 3: Earth’, the DLC will apparently “add mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London.”
Three new weapons are also said to feature, including the “Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon light machine gun,” as well as six new human N7 classes: “Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury”.
Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut is a free DLC due to be released this summer that combats criticisms aimed at Mass Effect 3’s ‘controversial’ ending.
